About me: Hi everyone! My name is Dhamar. Ever since I could remember I have loved school. When I was little, I would even go to school during the summer just for fun. I cannot wait to share my passion towards teaching with my mentees.

Skye

Endorsements: English, math and reading
Hometown: Spencer, IA
About me: Hi everyone! My name is Skye and I am from Northwest Iowa. I have five brothers and am the fourth oldest of my family. I have two dogs at home and I am obsessed with them. My favorite animal is a sloth and cry tears of joy every time I see a video of them. In my free time you can find me volunteering at the Ames Public elementary schools, hanging out with my friends, reading a good book, or watching Netflix. I love being an Iowa State Cyclone and everything it entails. I am a proud member of Sigma Kappa and love supporting the other sororities and fraternities on campus. I also attend SALT Co. every Thursday. I love being an Elementary Education major and being a part of the Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers Learning Community has allowed me to make so many connections with people who have the same love of children and learning that I do. The Education department here is incomparable and indescribable to anything I have ever been a part of. I value having a large support system and was so relieved when I found that here at Iowa State. I hope you are able to find your home away from home here at Iowa State, just like I did.
