- EDUC 591G: 96 hours of supervised field experience (1 credit)
- EDUC 506: Social Justice Education and Teaching: Advanced (3 credits)
- EDUC 595: Teaching Disciplinary Literacy (3 credits)
- Attend student teaching roundup
- Apply for student teaching (Decision Point 2)
Prior to (or during) Spring Classes
- Program completion assessment: Take Praxis II Content Exam: Test: 5161 (strongly recommended to take this the semester prior to student teacher)
Spring
- EDUC 513: Mathematical Problem Solving in K-12 Classrooms (3 credits)
OR - EDUC 502: Teaching Mathematics to English Language Learners (3 credits – online)
- EDUC 517C: Student Teaching: Mathematics (4 credits)
- Complete PPAT during student teaching
- Apply for license (Decision Point 3)
Total required credits = 35
