Cyclone Learning Zone
In a collaborative partnership with Ames Community School District, Iowa State University Teacher Education candidates provide academic support through tutoring at local schools. Elementary students are selected to participate in the after school program, Cyclone Learning Zone, and receive one on one instruction from students enrolled in Curriculum and Instruction 280T. The learning experience is mutually beneficial for both the Ames elementary students and our ISU teacher candidates.
